THE DOOR OF FAITH         


The door of faith swings wide open,
Hangs on hinges of belief...inviting
Us to step inside the inner circle of
Christ followers, who'll go wherever

He leads, conceeds to the Master's
Plans for obedience, rather than the
Superficial offerings on the altar of
The world's success, that demands

Their talent, wealth, fame and things
That can't satisfy the soul's desire to
Know and be fully known by one who
Loves them most, and will never leave

Them or give up on anyone, while fear
Slams the door of faith, closes chances
To believe, shuts out light and life, seals
Tightly, turns off the hope of loving God.
