THE POTTER'S CLAY

THE POTTER'S CLAY

Mold me with your Potter's hands
Push and pull what might have been,

With even pressure make me smooth
And daily show me which to choose...

A gentle resounding of the tongue
Or wayward words obliquely strung

From lips obeisantly, that give praise
To You or selfish me.
