UNTOUCHABLE      

Steadfast because you steady us,
Untouchable because of your touch,
Lovingly we love because you loved
Us first, and you loved us best of all,

Heaven opens as you open our lives
For more of YOUR life in us, it's the
Greatest mystery of creation that the
CREATOR GOD wants me, loves me,

Gives me opportunity to commune
With HIMSELF; what joy to have and
Hold in my heart as he favors me and
All who love him back with repentant

Heart, knowing we don't deserve HIM
We're given first place, to sit at his feet,
To dine at his table, to lift our voices
In praise and adoration, as we believe

In him, the bearer of our sin, love goes
From his arteries and veins, Holy Blood
Flows over our souls to clean the vilest
Among us, as we fall flat on our faces,

Knees bent in confession's prayer, in
Worship, praise, and thanksgiving, no
One who came, will ever be the same
Because he came to us first, and we

Love him because HE LOVED us best
Of all, without regret, so willingly HE
Died for the worst of sinners like me,
Each one the vilest in need, the vilest

In deed, the vilest redeemed in death,
Renewed to life, by his life pouring on
The alter of sacrifice, empties himself
To fill my cup to the brim, overflowing

With Him!
