WHEN THE MUSIC STOPS
When the music stops but the band plays
On, a still quiet voice within my soul takes
Me on a journey that was started long ago,
He says ignore the noise from things that
Make you weary...fret not because of evil
Men, their ways will come to an end, God's
Judgment is righteous and true, leading you
In my everlasting ways, shutting out the loud
Noises...embracing me in praise. Exalting
The LORD all the days of my life...he says
Help the ones that can not help themselves,
The vulnerable unborn, the children of the
Weak, the weary and forlorn, God has put
His hand on my life, and he will perform his
Purposes in me and all who love him, who are
Called accordingly, to his promise and desire...
He'll bring it all to pass as he said in his Word...
Drowning out the noise of the world, he glows
From the inside and shows up on the outside
When I follow in obedience...it's better than
Life's sacrifice!
