RESPITE FOR THE WEARY

RESPITE FOR THE WEARY

Respite for the weary and worn...
Refuge to the oppressed and torn,
Restorer of paradise lost, freedom
For me, came at great cost to him...

I'm redeemed and set free from the
Wages of sin, Babylon's fallen along
With all men...humans appalling, but
Jesus is calling, avenging their plight

As humble hearts cry admitting their
Sin...as Jesus, the Savior of the world
Came to interceed for all who'd believe
In his name, taking their blame as he

Ransomed himself as payment for all
Who would call, he always says come
To everyone accepting his offer to be
Transformed...transferred from death

And darkness, into bright light and life!
