THE CLEANSING BLOOD
The cleansing blood of Jesus, washes
Over me and floods from Calvary's tree,
Where Christ obtained my pardon, paid
For all my sin, sacrificing self, everyone
Could see, even those rejecting him, he
Died for all men, as death came through
Adam, the man who first disobeyed God
Passed it through the ages, it separated
From God the Father, Creator of man and
All that was made…Jesus is our sacrifice,
The perfect Lamb gave himself away, and
Atonement was gained for every slave, as
The debt for death was paid...victory was
Won, for all who'd come to Jesus the Son.
