THE RANSOMED LIFE
The ransomed life of Jesus Christ,
Atonement for my sin, a sacrificial
Death for the debt I owed, the holy
Son lay himself down as the Lamb
Of God destined to die, my new life
Could begin....as it was finished, at
The cross....that held nailed hands
And feet, who's head wore a crown
Of thorns....as a soldier pierced his
Side; such brutal death....the Son of
God....endless love flowed from the
The wounds of the Savior, his death
Was not the end....but his life given
Freely, meant life for all who'd come
To the flowing fountain of blood, for
The hopeful to bathe in the cleansing
Flood of His Son, the sacrificial Lamb.
