THE WAY OF THE CROSS
In his weakened state, he stumbled
And faltered on the way to the cross,
The road of suffering and sorrow for
Us, brought hope for today, tomorrow,
And always, so those who believe in
Him could be cleansed from sin, and
Get born again, as darkness became
Light, shining through the night onto
My path, led me straight to the arms
Of God, through Jesus Christ, victory
Won, no more wandering away from
Home, the way of the cross cost him
Everything, as crucifixion on a Roman
Cross seemed like the end for him, but
Eternity was found, confounding Satan
And his demons....new life came forth
From the grave when Jesus arose and
Resurrection life began, fulfilling God's
Plan....Satan's forever defeated....Christ
Reigns as King....it changed everything!
