ONE WAY TICKET

ONE WAY TICKET

One way ticket to paradise...don't
Need plane or speeding train, just
The trumpet of the Lord to sound
That calls us home to be with him,

In the blink of an eye, transported
Lifted high up to the sky, no need
To learn to fly...changed, mortal to
Immortality; see him in the clouds

Waiting there for you and me, to be
With him forever....no matter where
He'll be...his saints will live with him,
Even so, come LORD JESUS....come,

Always waiting, watching...I'm ready!

1 Corinthians 15:50-54 -- Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 -- For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Luke 12:37-38, & 40 -- Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he cometh shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.
38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.
40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
