LAUGHTER, LOVE, SORROW
Lord you give us laughter, love, and sorrow,
The ability to trust you today and tomorrow,
For your overarching will to be done, you see
The things we can not see, but you ask us to
Trust in the midst of confusion, adversity and
The enemy's delusion; we know that you hate
Wickedness and evil, and we hate it too, give
Us greater love for you, and for righteousness,
Whatever life may bring, we ask YOU to help
Us sing and rejoice as we lift our voice in one
Accord to you the Creator who makes things
New, wipe away our tears that can sometimes
Come from fears, forgive us faithful LORD, oh
Help us to trust you more in adversity's midst
Or joy, YOU are faithful because we know you
Can be trusted, in laughter, love and sorrow!
