CHOSEN BY GRACE
Chosen by grace, not of works, the Son
Of God took my place...by shedding his
Blood, on a wooden cross, stained with
Sin's death, burdened guilt, and shame,
The only reason he came...to take man's
Failures on himself, fulfilling the law and
God's requirement for sin, sacrificing the
Spotless lamb of God, his shoulders took
The world's disobedience, and he bore it
All, every sin for everyone, justified those
For whom He took the fall, atoning grace
Extended for all who'd believe and receive.

Romans 5:8-11– But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath
through him.
10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his
Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom we have now received the atonement.

John 16:33 – These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the
world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

2 Corinthians 5:17-21 – Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things
are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ,
and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
19 To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not
imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.
20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by
us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be
made the righteousness of God in him.
