CRADLE TO THE CROSS
From the cradle to the cross, the
Son of God lived without luxuries
Of the wanton world who's out to
Get rather than give, to be served
Rather than serve, but he came to
Serve us all, and to restore our lost
Relationship with holy God, who is
Righteous, and gave everything he
Had, to gain redemption for man's
Sin and separation....Christ ate with
Sinners, walked with fishermen, led
Castaways to repentance....healed
Lepers, cast out demons, confounds
The self righteous, who despise him,
Cleaned out the temple....confronted
Blatant hypocrisy....washed dirty feet
Humbled himself to hang on a cross,
Poured out his blood, for others to be
Rinsed, cleaned, and fully redeemed,
By the KING of Kings, and Lord of all!

midst of Samaria and Galilee.
12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were
lepers, which stood afar off:
13 And they lifted up their voices, and said, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.

And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.
15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a
loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a

Matthew 9:2-13 -- And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed:
and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy
sins be forgiven thee.
3 And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth.
4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your
hearts?
5 For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise,
and walk?
6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins,
(then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house.
7 And he arose, and departed to his house.
8 But when the multitudes saw it, they marvelled, and glorified God, which had
given such power unto men.
9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting
at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him.
10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many
publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples.
11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth
your Master with publicans and sinners?
12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a
physician, but they that are sick.
13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice:
for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentrepentance.

Mark 11:15-18 -- And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to
cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the
moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.
17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be
called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might
destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

John 13:3-16 -- Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and
that he was come from God, and went to God;
4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and
girded himself.
5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples'
feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.
6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash
my feet?
7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou
shalt know hereafter.
8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If
I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.
9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my
head.
10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet,
but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.
11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.
12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set
down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to
wash one another's feet.
15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord;
neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.
